Board & Committee Preferences - Due 4/5/24

Parent Involvement at WCNS has Three Requirements:

​

1.  Parent Helping in the Classroom:  Frequency is approximately once a month, and is scheduled by the class liaison.

 

2. Serving as a Board Member, Committee Chair or Committee Member:  Nominations for the Board of Directors, Committee Chairs and Committee Members take place in May. The Nominating Committee reviews your indicated preferences and will make its best effort to accommodate parents' interests.  All parents will be notified of their assignments in May.  If you are a new family please consider serving on the board.  We warmly welcome you to a fun and rewarding experience! 3. Fulfilling a Workday Commitment:  Each family participates in one of the scheduled workdays for each child in our program.  The school depends on this commitment from parents for the opening and closing of the school year, as well as periodic cleaning maintenance.  Each workday is a Saturday morning from 8:30am - 12:30pm.  Board members and committee chairs are not required to attend a workday. The future Facilities Committee Chair will provide a parent sign up.
